Implant Restorations: Crowns, Bridges, and Full-Arch Teeth Built In-House
An implant is only half the story. The titanium post anchors your new tooth — but it’s the restoration on top that you’ll see in the mirror, chew with at every meal, and show off in every photo. At GD Dentistry, we design and fabricate implant restorations in our own on-site lab, which means better fit, faster delivery, and teeth crafted by the same team that placed your implants.
Every Type of Implant Restoration
Implant crowns
For a single missing tooth, a custom ceramic crown attaches to your implant and blends seamlessly with the teeth beside it — matched in shade, shape, and translucency. Unlike a traditional bridge, nothing is drilled on your healthy neighboring teeth.
Implant bridges
Missing several teeth in a row? Two or more implants can support a fixed bridge, replacing multiple teeth without a removable partial and without overloading any single implant.
Full-arch fixed prosthetics
For patients replacing an entire arch, our All-on-X treatment pairs four or more implants with a complete set of fixed teeth — including temporary teeth delivered in as little as 24 hours and a final, reinforced prosthetic once healing is complete.
Replacing worn or failing restorations
If you have an aging implant crown, a fractured prosthetic, or a denture that snaps onto implants but no longer fits, we repair and replace restorations from any office — even implants we didn’t place.
The In-House Lab Advantage
Most dental offices ship restoration work to an outside lab and wait weeks for results, with limited control over quality. GD Dentistry brought the lab inside. Using E4D and CEREC digital design and milling technology, we scan, design, and fabricate restorations on site. For you, that means:
- Speed: Same-day and next-day delivery on many restorations — it’s how we deliver fixed teeth in 24 hours for full-arch cases.
- Precision: Digital scans replace goopy impressions, and restorations are milled to exacting tolerances for a comfortable bite from day one.
- Accountability: The doctor who placed your implant works directly with the lab crafting your teeth. Adjustments happen in minutes, not weeks.
Built to Be Lived With
We design restorations for real life: coffee, crusty bread, decades of chewing. Materials like high-strength ceramics and zirconia resist staining and fracture, and because your restoration is engineered from your 3D CBCT scan and bite records, forces are distributed evenly across your implants — protecting your investment for the long run. Frequently Asked Questions
How is an implant crown different from a regular crown?
A regular crown caps a natural tooth. An implant crown attaches to a titanium implant, replacing the entire tooth — root and all — with no drilling on neighboring teeth.
What materials do you use for implant restorations?
We primarily use high-strength ceramics and zirconia, chosen for durability and lifelike appearance. Your doctor recommends the right material based on the tooth’s location and your bite.
How long do implant restorations last?
Crowns and bridges commonly last 10–15 years or more; full-arch prosthetics are built for similar longevity. The implants beneath them often last a lifetime, and restorations can be renewed without new surgery.
Can you replace my old denture with fixed implant teeth?
Yes — this is one of our most common treatments. Existing denture wearers are often excellent All-on-X candidates, and your free CT scan confirms it.
Do I need to wait weeks for my new teeth?
Usually not. With our in-house E4D/CEREC lab, many restorations are delivered same-day or next-day, and full-arch patients receive fixed temporary teeth within 24 hours of surgery.
Will my insurance help pay for the restoration?
Many plans contribute toward implant crowns and prosthetics. We verify your benefits and offer financing for the balance — ask at your free consultation.
