- On-screen design: Your crown is designed digitally, matched to your bite and the contours of neighboring teeth.
- In-office milling: A milling unit carves your crown from a solid block of dental ceramic, shade-matched to your smile.
- Same-day bonding: After polishing and glazing, the crown is bonded permanently and your bite is fine-tuned. You eat normally that evening.

The ceramic used in CEREC crowns is strong, metal-free, and translucent like natural enamel — the same caliber of material used in traditional lab crowns. When You Might Need a Same-Day Crown
Crowns protect teeth that fillings can no longer save: teeth with large fractures, extensive decay, or structural weakness after a root canal.
